永和豆漿大王 Yungho Soy Milk King

Yungho Soy Milk King is a chain store in Taiwan. It is not the local restaurant of Ilan. But many students of Ilan university like to eat night snack here. Here are some Chinese traditional foods you can choose.





The soy milk is the most famous food of this restaurant. Soy milk was made from soy beans, it is a very nutritional and dilicious Chinese traditional food.






Steamed dumpling is a tradinal Chinese food, too. It is heated by steam, not water. The size of the Steamed dumpling is small so that you can swallow a whole steamed dumpling easily. But the soup in the dumping is very hot. You must be careful about that when you eat the steamed dumplings.







It is the radish cake. Radish cake is a very special Chinses meal. It is made from radish and flour. Chinese people don't bake the radish cake but fry it. You can order a radish cake and taste the special flavor of it.






These are 'clay oven rolls' and 'fried bread stick'. They are made from flour but they are not bread. Chinese people usually put them together to eat.






This is salted soy milk. There are fried bread stick and dried radish in it. The soy milk will become solid as tofu when it is overheat. Chinese people love the flavor of it.






This is the most famous Chinese food which is named rice ball. There have diffirent kinds of ingredients in the rice ball. For example: egg, fried radish, fried pork fiber and vegetables. When you bite it, you can feel many kinds of flavor in your mouth but they are harmony.

  1. Thanks for sharing the great details of the foods you tried in Taiwan. Is the chain also in Taipei? I had the Hung Yo Soy Milk when I was there a couple of years ago. I am a little confused about the types of soy milk there are. I remember getting hot, cold with sweetener, and hot with the bread stick (Yo-teay) I think is the name. Thanks again for sharing!
